The actress Elspet Gray who with her husband Brian Rix appeared in many a comic farce on stage and screen has died. She was also in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, and appeared in such TV programmes as Faulty Towers, Dinnerladies, Black Adder, Tenko and the Peter Davison Dr Who story 'Arc of Inifinty'.
She was also secratary general of MENCAP for a while as well as working, with her husband, to help people with learning disabilities.
