Paul Shane, the actor from several TV comedy series has died aged 72 after a short illness. He found fame as Ted Bovis in 'Hi-De-Hi' and went on to star in the Croft & Perry comedies 'You Rang M'Lord' and 'Oh Doctor Beeching!'
