Playwright and screenwriter Arthur Marx has died, according to a report in The New York Times. He was 89.
Working with Robert Fisher, Marx, son of Groucho Marx, wrote the book for the Broadway musical Minnie's Boy, which chronicled his father's and uncles' rise to fame as The Marx Brothers. In addition, he wrote the play The Impossible Years, which ran for 670 performances at the Playhouse Theatre on Broadway, and Groucho: A Life in Revue, which was seen Off-Broadway in 1986. ...
